Green Bean Sprouts - How to Use?

STEP 1

Start by using a clean, wide-mouth mason jar. Please note that our sprouting lids are only suitable for 86mm wide-mouth mason jars and not for regular or standard mouth jars. Add the beans and fill the jar with clean, cool water.

STEP 2

Soak the beans for 8-12 hours at room temperature. In the morning, strain off the water using the sprouting lid, rinse well with filtered water, and drain again.

STEP 3

Place the jar upside down at an angle away from sunlight. Remember to drain the water through the sprouting lids at least twice a day. The sprouting process can take 2-5 days.

STEP 4

Allow the sprouts to grow to about an inch. Lentils, mung beans, chickpeas, and adzuki beans are good at about a half-inch.
